Featuring the same powerful 64 microphone architecture as the Audio/Visual Camera, our Planar Array allows users to focus the Array on a specific area of interest. The form-factor and design of the Array optimizes data collection and resolution for one-look direction recordings. Adding to the functionality of the Planar Array is our brand new, redesigned Acoustic Analysis software. The new software improves upon existing functionality and adds many new features, enhancing ease-of-use and control over data collection and analysis. Offered with the Acoustic Analysis software is the ‘Order Analysis Module,’ which allows operators to correlate time-dependent rotational information with position and frequency. Order analysis greatly expands the capabilities of operators to analyze sounds emitting from rotating machinery.
